Drunk Driver Possessing Morphine, Needles Jailed

On September 3, at 12:46 a.m., Jacob Michael Wietzke, 22 of Hollywood, was arrested by TFC C. M. Evans for Possession of Morphine. 

Wietzke was operating a black Ford Bronco on Patuxent Beach Road when he was stopped in the area of Kingston Creek Road in California for exceeding the posted speed limit.  Upon contact with the driver, Wietzke, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected coming from his breath.  Wietzke was subsequently arrested for DWI.  Wietzke was found to be in possession of a hypodermic syringe containing Morphine and a metal spoon containing burnt Morphine on his person. 

Wietzke was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
