September 12, marked a day of exciting drag racing at Maryland International Raceway. The Pritchett Controls Ultimate Outlaw Shootout came to MIR for the first time to tape a nationally televised show for Fox Sports Net’s hit show, Inside Drag Racing.

There was something for everyone at this action-packed door car event including Heads Up Outlaw 10.5, Drag Radial, 275 Drag Radial, and the new 8.50 Index. In addition to all this Pritchett Brother’s held a Modified ET, Top ET, and Street ET bracket races

The audience, which built all day until the taping began in the early evening were entertained througout the day by the band "The Perfect Excuse" and some hot and heavy qualifying races.
