Credit Card Stolen from Doctors Office: Suspect Busted Making Purchases

On September 1, at 9:32 a.m., Trooper First Class Greggs responded to the WAWA in Prince Frederick for a reported credit card fraud.
The manager stated that someone had attempted to make a purchase using a credit card that did not belong to them. When asked for identification, the suspect left the store. TFC Greggs located the suspect at Rite-Aid, attempting to make purchases. Taron T. Stewart, 29 of Washington, DC, was placed under arrest and transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing.
Investigation also revealed that Stewart had entered a doctor’s office on Stoakley Road and removed a credit card from an unattended purse. Stewart also had numerous open warrants from other jurisdictions.
