Volunteer Recruitment Fair Set to Help Non-Profits
LEXINGTON PARK - 9/3/2009

RSVP volunteers created emergency preparedness kits which were distributed to the vulnerable population of the St. Mary's County as determined by the Health Department, Emergency Management, and the Department of Aging Meals On Wheels program.

During the current economic downturn, organizations that are dedicated to helping others in need, find recruiting volunteers a difficult task. Compound that problem with deteriorating funding and many non-profits are finding day-to-day operations severely hampered. |
