Hundreds of people enjoyed the hot summer day on Saturday, August 29, strolling through the 80-acre Chancellor's Run Park.

With music in the background, attendees observed a sea of humanity participating in the various athletic challenges including 3-on-3 basketball tournament, 3-point shootout, slam dunk contest, a soccer skills challenge, Punt, Pass and Kick competition and Home Run Derby.

Antique car lovers drooled over the vintage cars on display while the children were anxious to get to the Park's playground.  Food was available for sale from vendors as well as some for free.

The Calvert K9 Search and Rescue team gave an enthralling demonstration of the abilities of the canine members and their handlers as they walked through various scenarios of the search and rescue process.

Yet another great day in our local community as people of all walks of life come together to share and celebrate this second annual event sponsored by the Living Hope First United Pentecostal Church and the Southern Maryland community.
