Do you twitter? Do you Flickr? Do you wish you did or do you just need to improve your “tweet cred”? You've heard the buzz about Web 2.0, but do you really know how to take full advantage of it? Social media is the latest trend, and it's not just for teens. Adults are using it to network, make sales contacts, build a client base, relive their high school years, play games with old friends, share first step videos with Grandma and more. Come find out more about today's Web with the Calvert Library! We'll show you how to use the hottest technologies to safely keep in touch and collaborate with others. On Tuesday, September 22, join us at the Calvert Library, Prince Frederick from 7 to 8:30 pm while we introduce you to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Flickr. Then on Monday, October 26, from 7 to 8:30 pm join us again to learn about Wikipedia, Blogger, RSS feeds, and Craigslist. Are you a hands-on learner? Bring your laptop and connect to our free wireless Internet to try as you learn! For more information call the Calvert Library at (410) 535-0291 or (301) 855-1862.
