Many children go to school every year without the necessary school supplies they need.  Please help support our effort to help provide needed school supplies for local students.  Joié Salon and Spa is collecting school supplies from August 20 through 31.

Those who bring in new, packaged school supplies to donate to the cause will receive 20 percent off any salon service.  On August 20 through 22 for kids ages five to 12, back to school hair cuts are 50 percent off when they donate a new school supply item of any kind.

All supplies collected will be given to the Chesapeake Public Charter School on Great Mills Road, which will in turn provide them to school students.  The salon and spa is limiting service to only one discounted service, per person, per donation.

Parents may want to bring in their children to get a back to school hair cut and let them experience the gift of giving first hand.
