Registration Continues for Parks & Rec Before & After School Care

The St. Mary’s County Department of Recreation & Parks is continuing to accept registration forms for the Before and After School Care programs for the 2009/2010 school year. The Before & After Care Program serves the following schools:
· Banneker Elementary
· Evergreen Elementary
· Green Holly Elementary
· Green Holly Judy Center (Pre-K)
· Greenview Knolls Elementary
· Hollywood Elementary
· Leonardtown Elementary
· Lettie Marshall Dent Elementary
· Mechanicsville Elementary
· Esperanza Middle (check with school transportation for drop off at Hollywood Rec Center)
· Leonardtown Middle (check with school transportation for drop off at Hollywood Rec Center)
· Margaret Brent Middle (check with school transportation for drop off at Mechanicsville Rec Center)
The program operates from 6:30 a.m. to the beginning of the school day and the close of school day until 6:30 p.m. The centers are open on teacher in-service days, early dismissal days and holiday breaks at no additional fee. Activities include homework time, am & pm snack, group games, arts & crafts, dramatic play and more.
