Two Hospitalized After 4-Car Chain-Reaction Collision

At approximately 5:09 p.m. on August 18 during heavy travel hours in the area of 22712 Three Notch Road in California 4 cars collided, causing two crash victims to be transported to the hospital by Lexington Park ambulances.

Witnesses report that a blue Dodge Ram 1500 and a red Dodge Durango SLT were stopped, waiting to turn on to Amber from eastbound Chancellors Run. Westbound on Chancellors Run was a Chevy Vista. At that time, a Toyota Siena pulled out of Amber Drive causing a 4-car chain reaction accident.

According to witnesses, the Toyota Siena pulled out of Amber Drive and struck the Chevy Venture forcing it across the center line and to strike the red Durango witch then caused it to hit the 1500.

The accident is under investigation at this time. Units from Lexington Park, Bay District and Hollywood responded to the incident.

That is Chancellor's Run Road and Amber Drive, not Three Notch Road.

they just wanted to divert the readers attention away from the chancellors run super mega dooper highway construction abortion. they should have hired TP for the project they would have been finished by now! i wonder how much the people leaning on the shovels watching hoochie mama's drive by get an hour or the other guys sitting on the equipment in the operators seat doing nothing all day long. with all the equipment that company has on that little stretch you'd thing they were building a super highway from alaska to russia. yet all they do is move piles of dirt from one side of the street to the other and so forth.

Badass Blinker
I heard that the Chevy had their turn signal on implying to the Toyota it was clear to pull out. When the Chevy failed to turn and continued with their badass blinker, bumper cars ensued. Maybe turn signal etiquette should be mandated in driver's ed! But then again, shouldn't all Cowboy fans get pushed around alittle.

first of all if your going to make a commet make sure you have all the facts straight first.the chevy venture did not have her right turn signal on thats what the driver in the sienna was going around telling everone at the scene.that stil does not give her the right to pull out in front of the chevy even if she had her turn signal on. that young lady was really hurt that day.

No, you've gotta be joking. if you drive that stretch you must do it with your eyes shut or maybe your texting the whole 4 miles or maybe your head is so fare up your a** and your texting. The company that is doing the construction must be getting paid by the day seeing as how long and little progress has been accomplished. Good for that co's workers too, they get paid to stand around and do nothing all dam day. and what's with the sound barrier wall with the one panel of bricks that is a different color than the rest? Hmmm.. Sorry beamher, tell your foreman to step it up, your company is looking pretty sorry through all the broken and chipped windshields caused by your company and thier careless and sloppy work. i'll honk next time i drive by ya holding up traffic with that stop sign for 20 minutes for no good reason whilst you chat on your radio;) BEEP BEEP

People cannot drive down yonder. This is why we look both ways before you stomp on the gas people. But of course no one was speeding either.

First off, people are driving the speed limit or faster on that road when clearly there is construction going on; Second the spot where the wreck occurred will eventually have a light. This is because there is so much traffic. Third, yes the construction company can fix the issue if they would work alongside the Sheriff's Office and work the Traffic during Peak Traffic times. The Sheriff's Office has known of the issue there for months before the project began, but does not have enough personnel to work it themselves. And years before, for doing a survey for a light to be put in there. Once the stretch they are working on now is finished, they will put a temporary light up until the rest of the road is built. Then a permanent Light will be put in there. I live in Hickory Hills, I see it the construction going on every day. And I put my life in the hands of God every time I pull out or in to where I live. I go to church right across the road, I even have friends and neighbors that volunteer at the station behind the church. It is a very bad road to travel on, and until the work is done, people are going to get hurt or die unless impatient people going to fast or going around people that are trying to turn. Which I might add is not legal in that area. There is no lane to go around someone turning, which means you stop and wait. And here is another thing to add SLOW DOWN!!!!!!
It's not a racetrack.
