False ID Leads to Jail Time

On Friday, August 14 at 1:26 am, Lakeshia Diane Jenkins, 33, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC M. A. Moore for DUI/DWI and giving False Identification to avoid Prosecution.

Ms. Jenkins was operating a white Ford Contour on Patuxent Beach Road when she was stopped at Oak Road in California for failing to drive right of center. TFC Moore made contact with the operator, Ms. Jenkins. She advised she had no identification and provided her sister’s name.

TFC Moore knowing she was giving a false name as she did the same thing on a previous arrest in March. Ms. Jenkins was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was charged with DUI/DWI and False Identity to Avoid Prosecution. She was held at the detention center pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
