Last week, over 600 readers of TheBAYNET.com responded to a unique contest where XH Sports and Giftware decided to let TBN readers select the new name of the store.

The rules were straight forward and the winner would win $250 toward sports merchandise at the store.

According to the store’s proprietor, Mary Dotson, “The response to the contest was amazing. It took us a long time to figure out who had won, because there were so many good entries.”

In the end, the winner selected was Donnika Mckinney who suggested “Sports Paradise.”

In the coming days, Mckinney will be coming to the store to receive her prize and because there were so many great entries, the owners have decided to award second and third place prizes as well.
