Verbal Altercation Turns Violent

On August 8, deputies responded to a disturbance complaint at Jumping Jacks Restaurant in Mechanicsville.

Investigation revealed the victim was in a verbal altercation, which escalated into a physical assault when Husan NMN Sarikaya, 53 of Lusby, Maryland struck the victim several times in the face with his hand. A third party attempted to intervene and was struck by Sarikaya.

Mr. Sarikaya was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree assault.

unfair arrest
this is wrong. I was not the only one arguing and hitting. I was arrested soley on the comments of the said victims. No one asked me my side of the story. I did not start this alteraction was only defending myself. this is not american justice they just arrested me with no information taken. The sheriffs did not get both sides of the story just believed what the other people involved said and did not even care what i had to say. i guess now the police are just arresting people on he said she said basis with out getting evidence or proper information from both sides involved in incidents.I am happy happy anyway and i know i am innocent and did nothing wrong. This is not fair and i wish people would take there job much more serious and be fair to everyone not just one way, I am looking for justice from the sheriffs office for me. I am asking the head sheriff to respond to this unfairness and make it right. thank you HAPPY HAPPY!!!!!!

Well you get what you pay for.. if 10 dollars for a damn good steak and cheese, frys, and drink is too much.. enjoy your subway slop.. Hasan is the best restuaraunt owner around here, who else works there own store, greets you with a hand shake and remebers customers by name, will sit and talk with you, etc.. nice to kids, Anyone who knows him can read this and know its not the whole story.. just another out of line person in this world who will turn things around, seriously.. Steve here (aka LIL JOHN!!) don't let the trash on this site bring you down. Don't waste your time defending yourself to the trash that hides behind their computer. We go to jumping jacks all the time. More expensive then subway.. Well duh... That's a chain restaurant not a honest man trying to make a buck. All the people that cry about paying 10 bucks for all the food you get, you can stay at subway and get your no love food. Hussan, in this country full of people with 0 integrity or honor you will get walked on. You need a good lawyer and sue the police dept for discrimination and not taking your story. Anyone who has an issue with me quit hiding behind your cpu and say it to the man himself.. Your probably in need of a slap in the face.
