National Night Out; a Success in the North end of St. Mary's

TheBAYNET.com divided up the county into north and south regions so our photographers could visit as many NNO gatherings as possible.

These pictures were taken by TBNs Sarah Nielsen who traveled to many of the locations in the northern end of the county.

There wouldn't be any African-American's or minorities in the pictures. The only ones posted on The Bay Net are criminals. Is that bad on The Bay Net's part for only featuring Caucasions in a positive light or Minorities for not doing enough to get recognized in a positive way?? Inquiring minds would like to know!

I was at National Night out in Westberry... where are those pictures? There were plenty of African American ppl there? I am so sick of hearing about the "race" card! I am married to a black man... I have a mixed child... When is the WORLD!!! going to get over it? There are a lot of white ppl who frown upon interracial couples... but has anyone noticed... it's freakin 2009.... I understand african americans were slaves, so on and so forth, but I didn't own any slaves... and I LOVE BLACK PPL, so when is it going to end? Is it ever going to end? I'm not teaching my son that his mother is white and his daddy is black. He doesn't realize that 3 of his cousins are black and 2 are white. That's how God made humans! It's 2009 ppl, we need to learn to LOVE EVERYONE, regardless of color!

There is no issue of race other than what you two have started. I'm sure the photographer couldn't make it to EVERY National Night Out Event in the entire north end of the county. There have been plenty of pics of all races on many of the stories that involve children. Like Bambam3631 said check out National Night Out Southern St. Mary's...most of those pics do have African-Americans in them.

Get your eyes checked Tiph
The story about the National Night Out in southern St. Mary's had photos of mostly African Americans being shown in a positive light. Was the BayNet being discriminatory against Caucasions in the south end of the county? Not everything is an issue of race. The sooner you learn that, the better off you'll be. Grow up.
