Man Arrested Trying to Sell Drugs at Drive-Through Window
PRINCE FREDRICK - 7/25/2009
|
On July 15 at 1:55 a.m., Cpl. Richard Wilson responded to the Fox Run McDonald’s in Prince Frederick for a report of a CDS violation. An employee advised Cpl. Wilson that the driver of a black truck had offered to sell CDS to the employee while at the drive-through window. The employee pointed out the truck and Cpl. Wilson initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle in the parking lot. The driver, later identified as Edward Guy Wilcox III, 26 of Prince Frederick, struggled and attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended. He was found to have marijuana in his possession. He was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana in sufficient quantity to indicate intent to distribute, possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, a digital scale, and carrying a dangerous weapon; a folding blade knife. An occupant in the vehicle, a 17-year-old male from Huntingtown, was charged on a youth report with possession of marijuana and cited for possession of alcohol under the age of 21. He was released to a parent. |
