Please be advised that the St. Mary’s County Department of Public Works & Transportation  will be performing construction work and replacing a 24 inch culvert crossing underneath Chisleytown Road, located in the 1st Election District, approximately .10 mile in from the intersection of MD Route 5 (Point Lookout Road), starting on Wednesday, August 5, and continuing through Thursday, August 6, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
        
During these times, expect Chisleytown Road to be closed to thru traffic.  The dates and times posted could be modified by weather conditions.  For additional information, please contact the DPW&T Highway Maintenance Division at (301) 863-8400.

During these construction activities, all thru traffic can expect to be detoured to Trapp Road and Point Lookout Road.  Please be alert to these conditions.
