The Maryland Tourism Council, Maryland Tourism Education Foundation, and Arundel Mills are hosting Maryland’s first travel and tourism industry focused Show August 28-30, at Arundel Mills Mall in Hanover, MD.

The Maryland Tourism and Travel Show will feature a range of exhibitors including attractions, hotels, restaurants, campgrounds, charter operations, golf courses, cruise and tour companies, wineries, and more. The Maryland Tourism Council strives to offer its members as well as professionals in Maryland’s travel and tourism industry opportunities to showcase their companies, products, and services to other industry members as well as to Maryland’s travelers.

Those who exhibit will be exposed to Arundel Mills’ busiest time of the year and vendors will be in front of 50,000 customers. As Wendy K. Ellis, Director of Mall Marketing and Business Development states, “This is an excellent opportunity for local tourism destinations to get in front of qualified consumers who are interested in learning about all the great places to visit and fun things to do right here in our great state of Maryland.”

This is the first event of its kind for Maryland’s tourism industry and Mary Jo McCulloch, President and CEO of the Maryland Tourism Council says, “The diversity Maryland has to offer visitors and travelers ranges from small towns rich in history to ocean front beaches to over 133,000 acres of State parks and this Show is a chance to connect members as well as consumers with all that Maryland has to offer.”

In addition to the Tourism and Travel Show, Arundel Mills will host a variety of entertainment including a fashion show and cooking and product demonstrations. Exhibitor registration is still available and sponsorship opportunities exist for travel related businesses throughout the state. For participation information, call the Maryland Tourism Council at 410.974.4473 or email mtc@mdassn.com. Information about the event and venue can be found online at www.arundelmills.com.
