The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for ALL of Southern Maryland until 5 p.m. on July 17.

A small craft advisory is also in effect through this evening until Saturday, July 18.

Isolated strong to severe storms are expected  to develop this afternoon and this evening with the main threat being damaging winds.
