On July 3, members of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to two local businesses in reference to an unknown suspect stealing women’s purses.  The first theft occurred at 11:30 a.m., at the Giant in Prince Frederick, the second occurred minutes later at Wal-Mart also in Prince Frederick.  The victims had briefly turned away from their shopping carts leaving their purses unattended. 

The suspect is described as a white male in his late teens early twenties with a slim built, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, witnesses saw the suspect enter a small silver passenger vehicle.
