UPDATE: Home Invasion in Ridge, One Hospitalized, Three Arrested

Nicholas Walter Bond, 20 years of age, with no fixed address, turned himself in to BCI detectives today. He was the third person charged with Armed Robbery, Burglary, Theft and Assault for the July 5, home invasion on Point Lookout Road in Ridge.
On Sunday, July 5 at approximately 5:30 a.m., police responded to a home invasion on Point Lookout Road in Ridge. During the home invasion, three men broke into an apartment occupied by a 32-year-old male and a 38-year-old female.
Once inside the men began beating the male victim with wooden sticks and a metal pipe. When the female victim attempted to aid the male victim, she was also struck several times.
After the beating, the male was robbed of his money and the three men fled the scene. After being treated at the scene by emergency first responders, the male victim was treated at St. Mary’s Hospital for lacerations, a broken tooth and broken jaw.
Later that evening at approximately 11 p.m., St. Mary’s County BCI detectives investigating the incident arrested James Perry Bond, 18, with no fixed address and Garry Wayne Morris, 20 of Great Mills.
Both men were charged with Armed Robbery, Burglary, Theft and Assault. They are incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
BCI reports that the third suspect, Nicholas Walter Bond, 20, with no fixed address, is currently at large and that detectives are actively seeking the male suspect on an arrest warrant.
