Man Flees to Calvert County After Violating Protective Order

On June 29, at 12:19 a.m., Deputy M. Boyer responded to a residence in Lexington Park for the report of a violation of a protective order. 

Investigation revealed Larry J. Amos, Jr., 27 of Lusby, had contacted the victim by telephone and in person in violation of a protective order.  Amos fled the residence and was subsequently located in Calvert County by deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office. 

Amos was transported back to St. Mary’s County where he was taken into custody by Deputy Boyer, charged with violation of a protective order and  incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
