Woman Robbed Putting Bags into Her Car

On June 17, at 3:51 p.m., officers responded to 2965 Festival Way in Waldorf for the report of a strong-arm robbery.
Investigation revealed the victim was putting bags into her car when the suspect ran up, grabbed her purse and fled to a car that was parked nearby. The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20’s with a thin build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a red shirt and khaki shorts. The suspect vehicle is a white passenger car, possibly an Infiniti, with tinted windows and a Maryland Bay tag.

Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect. Officer K. Goddard is investigating.
