St. Mary’s College of Maryland senior women’s lacrosse midfielder Lauren Carrier, of Crownsville, is one of six athletes featured in the April 6 edition of Sports Illustrated’s “Faces in the Crowd.” She has accomplished this while recovering from an injury while playing for the soccer team last October. After tearing her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), she was cleared to play lacrosse just three days before the first game of the season. “Lauren’s accomplishments this year are a true testament to her hard work and dedication,” said Carrier’s coach, Kara Reber. |
