Motorcycle Accident in Oakville

At approximately 6:05 a.m. on Friday March 27, Volunteer Fire and Rescue Units: Station 7, EMS Station 79, EMS Station 29, and the Medic Unit were dispatched to Three Notch Rd and Loveville Rd in Oakville for a Motor Vehicle Accident involving a Motorcycle.

Rescue Squad 7 and Engine 72 responded with 9 volunteers shortly after dispatch while Safety 7 (Pilkerton) arrived on the scene. Safety 7 established the Command and advised Communications that he had a Category "B" Trauma and checked for the availability of the helicopter. Due to the weather conditions at the time no helicopters were available.

Rescue Squad 7 and Engine 72 arrived on the scene and assisted EMS with patient care and removed hazards from the roadway. The patient was packaged and transported to St. Mary’s Hospital priority 1 by Ambulance 797. Command was terminated and all units cleared the scene and returned to quarters at 6:44 a.m.
