Have you ever thought about making history? The time is now!  Sotterley Plantation is holding a Volunteer Open House  Saturday, April 4 at 3 p.m. for everyone interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities at this National Historic Landmark.

This gem of Southern Maryland is one of the last surviving Tidewater plantations and needs help in the Museum Shop, Front Office, Hospitality, with Special Events, with the upkeep of the Gardens and Grounds, and as communicators of our history as Interpreters. Light fare will be served in the Customs Warehouse. All are welcome!

Over the years, volunteers have selflessly shared their time, efforts, and talents - instrumental in not only holding true to our mission, but also being an integral part of the expansion of many new programs and events.

To help us to bridge to gap between the past, the present, and the future, please contact Debbie Reetz, Volunteer Coordinator at the Sotterley office (301) 373 -2280 or via email: volunteer@sotterley.org.
