Woman Pushed Down, Dragged Out of House After Assault

On March 19, St. Mary's County Deputies responded to Iverson Drive in Great Mills, for a report of a disturbance.
Investigation revealed Gary Tharaldson, 37 of Great Mills, was involved in a verbal dispute which escalated into a physical assault when Tharaldson pushed the victim down and dragged her out of the residence.
Tharaldson was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
