Man Jailed After Argument with Machete

On March 14, at 7:40 p.m., Deputy R. Nielson responded Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, for the report of a subject armed with a machete.
Investigation revealed Upton L. Crosby, 24 of no fixed address, was observed arguing with a female in the parking lot and had a machete concealed in his belt under a large jacket. The weapon was not displayed during the argument.
Crosby was placed under arrest, charged with possession of a concealed deadly weapon and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
