Calvert County Announces DUI Checkpoints
CALVERT COUNTY - 3/10/2009
|
In an attempt to discourage impaired driving, the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office, with funding from Checkpoint Strikeforce, will be conducting DUI saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints at various locations throughout Calvert County on surrounding dates of the St. Patrick’s Day holiday. DUI Sobriety checkpoints are a tool used by law enforcement throughout Maryland where impaired driving has been prevalent and a significant contributing factor in serious and fatal injury vehicle crashes. |
