Maryland State Fire Marshalls are investigating a large amount of illegal fireworks confiscated from a trailer in Charles County.

Investigators responded to the 5200 block of Crain Highway in La Plata on March 4 around 2:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, illegal fireworks were found in a 2009 Haulmark Trailer at an Auto Body shop owned by Michael Watson.

Maryland State Police are assiting the Maryland State Fire Marshalls Office. Charges are pending at this time.
