On Feb. 23 around 2:45 p.m., rescue crews got a call for report of a house fire in the 24900 block of Morgan Road in Hollywood.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a brush fire quickly spreading, with a two-story home, fence and pool in danger of exposure. Firefighters were able to contain the outer edge/ perimeter of the blaze and prevent the fire from exposure to the home. No injuries were reported.

Crews were able to put out the last of the hot spots and were back in service shortly after 3:15 p.m.
