The initial investigation has revealed the victim and five other adults were playing video games in the victim’s apartment when a group of male suspects forced entry into the residence. The suspects were armed with firearms, forced everyone to lie on the ground and demanded money. One of the suspects shot the victim and the suspects all fled the scene. None of the witnesses was injured. The suspects were described as black males wearing dark clothing. Their faces were partially covered by masks. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle but no further description of it is available. Detectives believe the victim was targeted but the motive remains under investigation.
