Vacuum, Generator, Car Stolen in Mechanicsville Burglary; One of Many

On Feb. 7, at 9:20 a.m., Tpr. J. Hardesty responded to the 26000 block of Meadow Wood Drive in Mechanicsville for the reported residential burglary.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 64 of Mechanicsville, who advised unknown subjects kicked in the rear door of the residence and stole several items from the residence. A gas powered remote control car valued at $500, a red Honda Generator Model EU2000I valued at $500, a Dyson vacuum cleaner Model DC-7 valued at $300, a CD player valued at $50. Total value of the property stolen was $1,350.
The investigation continues as there have been several burglaries in the area.
