Racial Graffiti Spray Painted on Local Schools

On Feb. 3 at 6:55 a.m., officers responded to Gale-Bailey Elementary School located at 4740 Pisgah-Marbury Road in Marbury, after an employee discovered racial slurs spray painted on the front of the school.
 
At 7:15 a.m., officers responded to Henry Lackey High School at 3000 Chicamuxen Road in Indian Head, after racial epithets were discovered spray painted on the rear of a temporary trailer there. Officers believe the vandalisms occurred overnight and that the same suspect may be responsible for both crimes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer D. Savoy at (301) 743-5431. A cash reward is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest of the suspect.
