Students Arrested for Drugs, Weapons at School

On Jan. 7 at 9:30 a.m., a Charles County Sheriff’s Juvenile Resource officer assigned to Henry E. Lackey High School at 11320 Holly Springs Road in Indian Head, received information that one student had just sold another student drugs during school. The officer initiated an investigation and identified the two students – a 15-year-old male and a 14-year-old male. Officers recovered a small amount of marijuana and a knife from the 14-year-old youth. He was charged with possession of drugs and carrying a deadly weapon on school property. The 15-year-old was charged with possession with intent to distribute. |
