Solomons Comfort Inn is Offering Free Rooms for the Holidays
SOLOMONS - 12/22/2008
|
In an effort to continue a long-standing program to help bring families together for the holidays, Comfort Inn in Solomons is offering free lodging and other assistance to those that find themselves visiting friends and family who might be in nursing, veterans homes, hospitals or other treatment facilities and who are unable to be home. “Gathering families together over the holidays can be difficult. When family members or friends are in nursing homes, veteran’s homes, hospitals, or treatment facilities, the task is even harder,” said a Comfort Inn representative. The hotel, located at 255 Lore Road in Solomons, offers free rooms for Dec. 24 and Dec. 25. The “Hospitality for the Holidays” program offers free accommodations to out-of-town guests visiting friends or relatives in nearby treatment centers. “We want to do our part by offering a free room over the holidays to those families that would not be able to visit their loved ones because of the expense,” says Candace Dyer, Senior Vice President, Royco Hotels. “We have been participating in this program company-wide for many years and it is our way of giving back to the community.” Advanced reservations for the program are not required but are recommended because the number of available rooms may be limited. Reservations can be made by contacting the Solomon’s Comfort Inn at (410) 326-6303. The Solomons Comfort Inn is one of 125 hotels located in 24 states owned by Supertel Hospitality Inc. and operated by Royco Hotels. Both companies are located in Norfolk, NA. Supertel’s hotel portfolio includes Super 8, Comfort Inn/Comfort Suites, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Days Inn, Ramada Limited, Guest House Inn, Sleep Inn, Supertel Inn, Masters Inn, and Savannah Suites. This diversity enables Supertel to participate in the best practices of each of these respected hospitality partners. Supertel specializes in limited service hotels, and economy extended stay hotels, which typically do not offer food and beverage service.
