Science Fair Mentors Sought
ST. MARY' S COUNTY - 12/11/2008
|
Scientists, engineers, mathematicians and artisans are needed to support the Great Mills High School ninth grade STEM Academy as mentors for science fair projects. Students have a wide range of topic areas for their projects - from testing the effects of energy drinks on worms, to materials engineering tests. The 49th Annual Science and Engineering Fair occurs on Jan. 31 at Great Mills High School and mentors for the STEM Academies are needed now. To sign up, contact instructor Rhonda McCarthy at rlmccarthy@smcps.org. Mentors will need to complete a St. Mary’s County Public Schools volunteer form. |
