Seniors Invited to Cruise Potomac in Style

Charles County Parks & Recreation have announced there will be a senior citizen trip aboard the Spirit of Washington, with lunch and a cruise in Washington, D.C. This beautiful cruise ship on the Potomac River is the perfect destination for seniors looking for something fun and different to do. The indoor decks are completely climate-controlled for comfort in any season, and each one is surrounded by huge panoramic windows for spectacular sightseeing. The Spirit also boasts the largest outdoor deck in Washington, complete with patio-style seating. The two-hour lunch cruise is a wonderful afternoon getaway. A stop will be made after the cruise at the Vietnam Memorial. This trip is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31. Registration Deadline is Feb. 28. Trip Fee: $80.
