Mulch Ingites Causing Shed Fire
CHARLOTTE HALL - 12/8/2008
|
The Maryland State Fire Marshall's Southern Regional Office is investigating a shed fire in Charlotte Hall. Firefighters from Hughesville and Mechanicsville responded to 37720 Apache Drive on Dec. 4 around 1:41 p.m., for the report of a fire. Upon arrival, firefighters noticed a much pile near a 10 foot by 15 foot aluminum shed on fire and were able to quickly extinguish the blaze. The cause of the fire appears to be accidental. Embers from a nearby fire ignited the mulch near the shed, causing minor damage. No injuries were reported. |
