Charles Commissioners Host Holiday Celebrations
CHARLES COUNTY - 12/6/2008
|
The Charles County Commissioners would like to remind members of the community that they are partnering with Faison & Associates, LLC, for a series of holiday celebrations. This year's events will be filled with the spirit of giving and appreciation to area residents and businesses for making Charles County a family-oriented community. Faison & Associates, LLC, one of the premier retail developers in the nation has provided two centrally located sites for the celebrations: * Sunday, Dec. 7, at the Rosewick Shopping Center located on Md. Route 301 and Rosewick Road in La Plata, from 5 to 8 p.m. * Sunday, Dec. 14, at The Waldorf Marketplace which is located adjacent to the Capital Clubhouse in Waldorf, from 5 to 8 p.m. Both events will feature a variety of entertainment, including singers, dancers, soloists, and an orchestra. Other special activities are planned throughout the evening including a sing-along led by the Commissioners. Gift wrapping services will also be provided by the Tri-County Animal Shelter. Those attending are urged to bring a donation of food for the Southern Maryland Food Bank and/or a donation for the animals at the Tri-County Animal Shelter. For more information on both events, or if you would like to be a part of the celebration, please contact George Clarkson, Crystal Hill, Jason Lang or LoRease Johnson in the County Media Relations Office at (301) 645-0550. |
