Woman Refuses to Vacate

On Dec. 2, Deputy M. Rodgers responded to All Faith Church Road in Mechanicsville, to serve a protective order on Cynthia Lynn Lilly, 42 of Mechanicsville. The protective order specifically ordered Lilly to vacate the residence and have no contact by any means with the protected person/petitioner. Cynthia Lilly was given an opportunity to collect her belongings and vacate the residence which she refused. Lilly was told she was under arrest for violating the terms and conditions of the protective order. Lilly began to resist arrest, was subsequently subdued and handcuffed. Cynthia Lilly was charged with violating conditions of a protective order and resisting arrest |
