On Nov. 29, deputies responded to Piney Point Road and Buck Redman Road for a vehicle accident.  Deputies observed a male subject unconscious lying on the shoulder of the road.  Members of the rescue squad arrived and began rendering aide to the victim.

Nathaniel Wallace Lawrence, 45 of Callaway, was on the scene and explained the victim was seated on the tailgate of the truck, fell off and struck his head.  Lawrence was upset and continuously hindered the deputies and medical personnel who were trying to render aid to the victim.

As the rescue squad was rendering aid, the victim regained consciousness and began to struggle with medical personnel.  This upset Lawrence further.  Lawrence was asked several times to step back and not interfere which he refused.  Lawrence was told he was under arrest and a struggle ensued.

Tanya Maureen Shade, 38 of Callaway, observed Lawrence being taken into custody.  She yelled at deputies to stop arresting Lawrence.  She was told numerous times to step back which she refused.  Once Lawrence was secure, Deputy First Class Stone attempted to search him incident to the arrest.  Again Shade attempt to interfere and Shade was arrested.
