VanGO to Conduct Public Information Meetings

VanGO will be conducting the following public information meetings to review possible service changes to the VanGO transportation system: Monday, Dec. 15, 2:00pm, at the Greater Waldorf Jaycees Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2:00pm, at the La Plata Public Library Thursday, Dec. 18, 2:00pm, at the La Plata Public Library Thursday, Dec. 18, 6:00pm, at the La Plata Public Library This is an opportunity for the public to provide suggestions and feedback regarding possible service changes to the VanGO public transit system, including route modifications which may include lunch and/or dinner breaks, modified Saturday service, fare increases, and the modification of lower performing routes or business loops. The developed service changes are anticipated to be implemented during January 2009. Written comments will be accepted through December 18. Comments should be forwarded to: Department of Community Services, Attn: Transportation Division, 8190 Port Tobacco Road, Port Tobacco, Md 20677.
