On Nov. 14, Community Bank of Tri-County was inducted into the Community Foundation for Charles County Philanthropy Hall of Fame. The Philanthropy Hall of Fame is made up of exemplary individuals and organizations who have given tirelessly to Charles County. Neighbors, friends and colleagues nominated the inductees for their lifetime of giving to make Charles County the best place to live and give. “We are honored by this recognition. Community Bank is committed to enhancing and improving life in Southern Maryland and firmly believes that local businesses and strong communities create a diverse and prosperous region. This induction is a visible recognition of our continued support to our communities,” said Michael L. Middleton, Community Bank president and chief executive officer. Community Bank of Tri-County is the oldest independent financial institution headquartered in Southern Maryland with ten branches and approximately $675 million in assets.
