Neighborhood Sign Stolen

Calvert County Sheriff's are investigating the theft of the Cove of Calvert wooden neighborhood sign that was posted on Cove Lake Road and Hatteras Lane in Lusby.  The sign, valued at approximately $1000, was taken sometime between Nov.19 and 20.  If you have information, please contact Dep. rlh1985 11/25/2008 at 10:15 AM ...what? Can someone please explain the significance of stealing a neighborhood sign? I mean, what are they going to do? Sell it? I don't see any benefit that could be gained... lol I'm lost. Reply to This Comment

Wicked 11/25/2008 at 10:27 AM Reply to rlh1985: Why? I think they do it just to see if they can get away with it or sometimes it's a scavenger hunt. That is what I was told when our road sign was taken.
