Missing 13-Year-Old Found Safe

UPDATE: 9:30 a.m. Nov. 24 - Missing Teen Found

Bryon Hassan Bynum was located on Nov. 23, at a friend’s residence in Lusby. He was in good health.  Bynum was later released to his parents.

On Nov. 20, Maryland State Police TFC S. Johns responded to Balsom Road in Lusby, in reference to a runaway. TFC Johns learned that 13-year-old, Bryon Hassan Bynum had runaway from his home.

Bynum was last seen walking into the woods from a friend’s residence on Saw Mill Road in Lusby on Nov. 19, at approximately 4 p.m. Bynum was wearing a gray Nike hooded sweatshirt, black Nike hi-top sneakers and blue jeans. He is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 98 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

Bynum is believed to be staying with friends in the area of White Sands or in the woods surrounding the neighborhood.

Foul play is not suspected.
