Chill Baby! Chillin' Time Cuts the Ribbon
LEONARDTOWN - 11/20/2008

After a few weeks in operation, Chillin’ Time Smoothie Bar and Café officially opened its doors to much celebration on Thursday, Nov. 19. The unique establishment presents a novel concept for youths and families in Leonardtown. After a long grueling day hitting the books, youths of all ages now have a safe place to go and hang out with their friends. Chillin’ Time features a simple, inexpensive menu, a wide variety of smoothies, Hershey's ice cream, Big Train Products and some basic chillin' foods such as hotdogs, pizza and nachos. However, the real draw for entertainment will be the large screen televisions and three large screen pay-for-play Wii stations. In addition to the Wii stations, the smoothie bar plans to offer reruns of local sporting events on their wide screen TVs situated throughout. There will also be live concerts held on weekends. The goal is to provide families with a safe, fun environment, in a region that has long lamented the fact that there are not a lot of things to do. Chillin’ Time is located on Washington St. in the heart of downtown Leonardtown. All are encouraged to come by and check out this new concept in entertainment.
