Beginning on Nov. 20, TheBAYNET.com, in partnership with St. Mary’s Hospital, will launch Southern Maryland’s first Internet-based medical news portal, HEALTHNET. HEALTHNET will be an area of TBN dedicated solely to news and information about the health and well being of Southern Maryland citizens. The section will cover everything from news about vaccinations to a directory of medical professionals, to articles on care-giving and healthy lifestyles.In the coming days and weeks, HEALTHNET will add multiple listings for medical facilities, available health services, articles relating to health news Southern Maryland citizens can use to improve their quality of life. HEALTHNET will explore the world of medicine, emergency first responders, emergency room medicine and more. TBN’s HEALTHNET will also provide information about clinics, seminars, treatment centers and medical breakthroughs. There will be articles by noted and respected physicians, dentists, opticians, radiologists, nurse practitioners and more.
