VALLEY LEE - 11/19/2008
|
On Nov. 16, John Solomon Clayton, 58 of Valley Lee, was stopped for a traffic violation. The deputy observed a copper Brillo pad, commonly used in cocaine smoking devices, in the center console of the vehicle in plain view. A search of Clayton and the vehicle revealed a glass smoking device with suspected cocaine residue. Clayton was arrested and while in transport to the Detention Center, Deputy Snyder determined Clayton had given him a false name. Clayton was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and providing a false name to a police officer. |
