On Nov. 15, Samuel Victor Carver Jr., 20 of Lexington Park, was stopped for operating a 2003 Chevy Impala with tinted windows in violation of Maryland Transportation Article 22-406. As St. Mary's Sheriff DFC. J. Kirkner contacted Carver, he could smell an odor of burnt marijuana. Probable cause resulted in a search of the vehicle, which revealed a box of cigarettes containing suspected marijuana and a partially smoked cigarette containing suspected marijuana. Carver was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance – marijuana. |
