Deliveryman Robbed at Gunpoint at Local Motel

On Nov. 11 at 8:46 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the report of an armed robbery that occurred at the Glasva Thunderbird Motel located at 11050 Crain Highway in Newburg.

The investigation revealed a delivery person for John Dough’s Pizza was attempting to deliver a pizza to the motel but when he exited his car, two suspects confronted him with a gun and a knife. The suspects stole the victim’s money and his cell phone and fled the scene on foot. The victim returned to John Dough’s and reported the crime to police.

The suspects are described as white males wearing black jackets and caps, blue bandanas and fuzzy mittens. One of the suspects is about 6-feet-1-inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. The other suspect is about 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds.
