Late Friday, Nov. 8, a woman driving a silver Toyota pick-up truck on Mervell Dean Road in the area of Reeder Sanders Lane ran off the road and slammed into a tree.

Units from Maryland State Police, St. Mary's Sheriff's and Hollywood Fire and Rescue responded. 

The women refused treatment. More details to come as they are released by authorities.

Hmmm
Not knowing the speed of the tree at the time of impact makes it hard to determine who was at fault, doesn't it?

The deputies better investigate this closely. We wouldn't want people to think the driver was at fault when the tree could have pulled out in front of her.

Besides, if they don't spend time on this they will have to find another reason to ignore the red light runners on Rt. 235.

Actually NotBornHere, your dry sense of humor is rather refreshing compared to most other comments. Only a negative minded person would read your comments as being negative.

Keep up the good work, even if the escape'rs don't get the message.

I have seen many, many comments that were very 'nice' posted by NotBornHere. So, as the saying goes 'escape', "Practice what you preach".
